After school on September 6, 2012, Mr. Bogush will hold two information meetings for parents at which he will introduce some of the online tools used by students to share their work online, and demonstrate how technology is integrated into the social studies curriculum. The first meeting is 4:00pm-5:00pm and the second meeting is 6:30pm-7:30pm. They will be held in room 301. Both meetings will cover the same topics and information. At the sessions Mr. Bogush will review how his social studies classes will be using what are dubbed "web 2.0 tools" such as wikis, blogs, video conferencing and google docs, as well as project based elarning. Usually the meetings go well past 60 minutes in length because parents wish to discuss one of the items presented more in depth.
