Social Studies Meeting Date Change!

There was a typo in the letter!!  The social studies meeting will be on September 6, 2012.

After school on September 6, 2012, Mr. Bogush will hold two information meetings for parents at which he will introduce some of the online tools used by students to share their work online, and demonstrate how technology is integrated into the social studies curriculum.  The first meeting is 4:00pm-5:00pm and the second meeting is 6:30pm-7:30pm.  They will be held in room 301.  Both meetings will cover the same topics and information.  At the sessions Mr. Bogush will review how his social studies classes will be using what are dubbed "web 2.0 tools" such as wikis, blogs, video conferencing and google docs, as well as project based elarning.  Please RSVP to PBogush@wallingford.k12.ct.us, send in a note on the first day of school, or respond here--> http://moourl.com/team81.  Please state which meeting you will be attending!  Usually the meetings go well past 60 minutes in length because parents wish to discuss one of the items presented more in depth.  Beyond the initial presentation which will last an hour, please feel free to leave or stay.
